It's Time to Give Back
Philanthropy has been a cornerstone of Rajesh’s life for the past two decades, shaping not only his values but also the way he approaches every creative endeavor. Art has always been his meditation—a refuge where his thoughts flow freely and his emotions find expression. During the pandemic, as the world grappled with unprecedented challenges, the urgent need to support the less fortunate became deeply personal to him. In that crisis, he felt a profound inner calling to transform his anxiety into a force for good, and he conceived the idea of creating a series of theme-based paintings to be auctioned for charity, merging his passion for art with his commitment to helping others.
His journey with Home of Hope(www.hohinc.org) began in 1999 as a co-founder and co-creator, where he played a crucial role in developing the collateral, website, and multiple marketing efforts. Later, he had the honor of serving as president from 2014 to 2015. Rajesh strongly believes in enabling the disadvantaged to become an integral part of society, consistently combining his professional expertise in graphic design and web development with his philanthropic interests to support various non-profit organizations.
He further demonstrated his dedication by single-handedly handling all creative aspects—including print and web—for two successive fundraisers for the American India Foundation (www.aif.org), each raising over one million dollars and earning him the title of National Volunteer of the Year. Additionally, he supports the Respond Foundation in India, helping upcoming artists establish their identities in the marketplace, as well as the local chapter of the Red Cross in Palo Alto, CA, for their fundraisers.
During the pandemic, when there was a dire need to help the less fortunate and maintain calm, Rajesh conceived the idea of creating a series of theme-based paintings for charity. He set a clear goal, picked up his brush, and embarked on an incredible journey. Ideas flowed effortlessly, and his art was produced at an unprecedented pace. When he launched the online exhibition, the overwhelming support exceeded his expectations and affirmed his belief in the transformative power of art.
